Dorothy I. Height Black Family Reunion Celebration
For many African Americans, faith and family are inextricably bound together. In honor of this phenomenon, the National Council of Negro Women's (NCNW) annual Black Family Reunion Celebration will be hosted in a new format this year. Please join us as we partner with churches and faith communities across the country to celebrate the Black family and honor those who exemplify love, unity and service.
Given the major renovation to the National Mall currently underway, NCNW’s traditional Black Family Reunion Celebration will not take place this year. To maintain its historic focus on the Black family, NCNW's new board of directors, led by Ingrid Saunders Jones, took this opportunity to engage faith leaders and local communities in recognizing the strength of the Black family.
Information regarding the Black Family Unity Day Celebration is available on our home page, www.ncnw.org.
