FAQ’s
Will NCNW offer On-Site Registration?
No. All participants must register online for the convention by 11:59 pm, Saturday, September 21.
Will I be able to rent a scooter?
Yes. You can order your scooter through our preferred vendor “Scoot Around”. Click HERE for more information.
Will NCNW offer One-Day Event/Session Passes?
Yes.
Who are the Affiliate Organization Delegates?
The Affiliate Organization delegates are members of the respective affiliate organizations whom their national president appoints.
Will there be a Marketplace/Vendors/Exhibitors?
Yes.
I'm not staying at the Hilton, how can I get to the Convention Center from my hotel?
If you are staying at Renaissance Harborplace Hotel, Hyatt Regency Baltimore Inner Harbor, or The Royal Sonesta Harbor Court we will be having a charter bus circuit running daily throughout the programming. These properties are also less than a mile away for those who prefer to walk to the Convention Center.

Do Life and Legacy Life Members have a delegate vote?
Yes. All fully paid Life and Legacy Life Members attend the convention as voting delegates and have one full vote.
Who are the Section Delegates?
The Section delegates are members of the respective Section whom their Section president/Section Executive Committee appoints.
Can anyone attend the Young Adult Social?
No. Young Adults Only are invited to attend.
COVID-19 Liability Waiver:
By completing registration, Attendee assumes all risks and accepts sole responsibility for any injury (including, but not limited to, personal injury, disability, and death), illness (including, but not limited to COVID-19), damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense, of any kind, that attendee may experience or incur in connection with attending the 61st National Convention. Attendee hereby releases, covenants not to sue, discharges, and holds harmless the National Council of Negro Women, its employees, agents, directors, and representatives, from any such claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs, or expenses of any kind arising out of or related thereto.
Refund/Cancellation Policy:
- Registration can be transferred to another person if requested in writing by email to support@eventsibles.zendesk.com by the original registrant at least two weeks before the event (September 25, 2024). We encourage anyone who has registered, but who cannot attend, to find a substitute to attend in her place. No substitution is allowed within the last two weeks before the event.
- All refunds are subject to a $50.00USD administrative fee. If canceled up to four weeks before the event, 100% of the registration fee (less the administrative fee) will be refunded. Processing fees are non-refundable.
- If canceled between four and two weeks before the event, 50% of the registration fee (less the administrative fee) will be refunded. Processing fees are non-refundable.
- Approved refund requests will be processed beginning the week of October 21, 2024 and before October 31, 2024.
- No refund is given if canceled within two weeks of the event.
- A charge from Eventsibles, Inc. will appear on your financial statements for your conference fees. See our privacy policy for additional information.
Delegate verification?
The National Membership Coordinator, Danielle Tyson will verify the voting delegate statuses before the convention. If there are any noted discrepancies, she will directly contact the registrant.
Will Life and Legacy Life Members and Guild Chairs be allowed to present their contributions and be recognized at this year’s convention?
Yes. This tradition has been added to the Bethune/Height Hats Off Luncheon. ONLY those Life and Legacy Life members and Guild Chairs who registered for the convention can participate.
