Bethune-Height Changemaker Pathways

The Bethune-Height Changemaker Pathways (BHCP) are NCNW’s intentionally designed programmatic response to the systemic barriers and inequities that continue to hinder Black women’s maximized success. Through BHCP, NCNW will empower participants to break barriers and change their trajectory—ultimately creating a cycle of community AND social impact.

BHCP comprises multiple programs, each taking a distinct focus and approach to cultivating Black women changemakers––the first are our Collegiate Career Accelerator and Mentoring Program, additional programs will launch over time.

The Career Accelerator is a multi-faceted program intentionally designed to kick-start and advance participants’ careers through 1) funding, 2) mentoring, 3) networking, AND 4) training.

NCNW will change the trajectory of Black women and girls by empowering them -with the requisite knowledge and skills, social capital, access, and opportunity- to successfully navigate systemic barriers and inequities.

Our efforts will culminate in a cycle of community and Impact. BHCP will foster community, one Intentionally designed by and for Black women and girls, that will serve as a consistent source of guidance, inspiration, motivation, and support. Additionally, BHCP will fuel social impact by increasing the number of Black women who are affecting invaluable change.

BHCP includes multiple pathways, each has a distinct focus and approach to cultivating Black women change makers.
